Plaatwerk Opel Youngtimers

Opels uit de 80er jaren.

In de 80er jaren van de vorige eeuw ging Opel massaal op voorwiel aangedreven modellen over. Deze modellen zijn populair geworden als verzamelobject.

Prijsstelling

De speciale typen en uitvoeringen spannen de kroon qua exclusiviteit. Alles wat schaars is wordt duur. Zo ging het ook met afwijkende bumpers in kleuren en maten. Natuurlijk mogen de cabriolets niet ontbreken in dit opzicht.

Lijst van onderdelen en leveranciers

ATZ ersatzteile heeft veel op voorraad voor de Youngtimers. Plaatwerk is niet het enige.

Ook Teilehaber.de zou ik aanbevelen.

Op mijn blog staan artikelen over onderdelen leveranciers. Meer uit Nederland.
Menigeen heeft plaatwerk liggen. Zoals Arta parts bijvoorbeeld. Vergelijk eerst prijzen met elkaar. Kan je veel geld schelen.

Www.geilekarre.de is het een en ander te vinden. Kijk uit met prijzen. Sommige onderdelen zijn behoorlijk duur. Niet allemaal gelukkig.

De site "www.willhaben.at" uit Oostenrijk is het uitpluizen best wel waard.

Aanbevelenswaardig is "www.motoso.de". Zeer veel contacten kun je hier opdoen. Zeker op het gebied van plaatwerk voor youngtimers. Een aparte carrosserie rubriek is voorhanden met vele pagina's. Kotflügel und Seitenwander. (Spatborden en achterschermen).

Natuurlijk kan ik ebay niet overslaan. Let op verzendkosten en betrouwbaarheid van de betreffende verkoper.

Voor Corsa, Ascona en Omega, maar ook overige Opel modellen is er behoorlijk wat verkrijgbaar op bovengenoemde sites.

On Mantadany.de you can find a lot of parts for the Opel Manta B

One thing that caught my eye right away was the simple fact that he's not only having the parts available, but he is also selling them.
Which means there is not some kind of "museum" ready to be born.

Opel Manta parts suppliers 2

Parts of the Opel Manta A are still available today. The quantities became less as time went by.
Searching the Internet I found interesting things in the south of Europe. The most important thing is that parts are often a little cheaper than in the north.

Aftermarket wings for about 100 euros. In the north they can be twice as much.

It's of course the case with other car types as well. Manufacturing of parts and a lot of new old stock NOS can be found overthere.
Back in the day I found several cheap goods and brought them in in large quantities.

US Carparts in the Netherlands

In the dutch town of Pijnacker there is a guy who sells carparts for US cars.
From oldies of the late sixties until the present day.

Chevrolet Chevele,   Camaro.  Pontiac Firebird.  Ford Mustang, Dodge Ram, Dart to name but a few.

Used and new genuine parts are the name of the game.  He advertises with more than 120 different ads.

His name is "Arie" and you can find him on www.marktplaats.nl . Go to "auto-onderdelen" "carrosserie-en-plaatwerk".

www.ebay.com has a lot of parts for the Opel Manta A at the moment.

Fenders or wings front and rear new and genuine. In Germany they call it a Kotflügel for the front ones and Seitenwand for the rear.
Prices are high of course. This month, may 2017, they (frontfenders) were sold for €399,-- a piece.
