Oldtimer parts manufacturers
Oldtimerparts in general are hard to find. Though lots of manufacturers are still providing markets today. If you know where to find them. Let me help you to track them down.
Bodyparts from klokkerholm for instance approaches the original parts very close. In thickness of 0.7mm you have to remove the old part completely instead of an oversized by Van Wezel.
For many European car manufacturers are you able to find bodypanels, bodyparts, bumpers. The Bumpers by the way are most of the time quickly out of production. Influanced by the second hand used parts and relatively easy to replace.
Smaller quantities killing it instantly. Soon newer parts are taking over. Production capacity and 24 hours in a day so to speak.
Bumperworld takes over when mass production has ended. These guys manufacture, you've guessed it, smaller amounts.
Of course the price tag is different, but who cares as long as the assurance companies are paying the bill.

Another manufacturer of bodyparts is Warny from Belgium. They never stop manufacturing parts. Sometimes a slow selling item can take a while, but as soon as orders are coming in again the race is on so to speak.

Some companies are specialised in Opelparts in particular.
I have an article about suppliers on my blog right now and a follow up is in the making.
Many parts are simply to expensive. Prices in Germany for Opel oldtimerparts are higher then in my native Holland.
I had a company selling bodyparts for oldtimers. So I gathered together all that I could find in Europe. Prices in France were lower. Go to ebay.fr and see what you can find. Lot's of Opels in Belgium. Belgium was Opels second home.
Prices combined with overcoming languages and places and markets to collect and interact with one another makes this business the business that it is. Hobby, so no rush. To make a living out of it you're constantly on the road.
Folks, I don't know every website to put an add on. There are a lot of them. It takes a lot of time too. Not everybody has the amount of time in his/her week. Neither do I.
I have several articles on bodyparts.
Like Wings (spatborden), Deuren en deurplaten (doors and doorskins) en achterplaten (rear panels).
Wings or fenders are most of the time manufactured by the aftermarket, just like doorsills. Wings are out of production both genuine as aftermarket.
The same thing for rear panels (containing taillights) but still available. Rear side panels or rear wings are very difficult to find.
Dr. Manta is also aftermarket manufactures bodyparts for Manta A.
Interior trim only second hand.
Rear axles can be found overhauled just as gearboxes and complete engines.
Bumpers are made in the Netherlands, see my other article about it.

Opel Manta A deur rechts
Op Opel-classic-parts staat een rechter deur van een Manta A.
Staat niet bij of die nieuw is. Aan de prijs te zien denk ik het wel.
Voor een bedrag van 711 euro wisselt deze van eigenaar.
